Description of the Sealy Avalon Mattress
The Sealy Avalon mattress is part of their new top of the range Posturepedic Platinum Collection. Comprising of a luxury box-pillow top with 7 zone Memory and Latex support, Posture Tech springs and lumbar support. The Avalon has been designed to eliminate tossing and turning caused by uncomfortable pressure points.
The new Sealy range of products are the result of over four years of research that has taken the 'Science of Sleep' to completely new levels. This has resulted in creating specific pressure knockout zones along with Posture Tech responsive springs to provide better weight distribution and support.
The Avalon uses 7-Zones of supportive layered Latex and Memory Foam to create pressure knock out zones, this helps to prevent tossing and turning through the night, ultimately giving you a more restful nights sleep. Additionally Avalon benefits from lumbar support bars to disperse pressure in areas where your weight is concentrated. This complements the Latex and Memory foam perfectly so that pressure points literally disappear.
The Avalon mattress uses 660 Posture Tech response springs that have been redesigned to provide better weight distribution away from the heaviest parts of your body. Sealy have also integrated their Edge Guard system, consisting of an extra outer perimeter of foam to encapsulate the springs. This added encapsulation provides edge to edge support for greater durability and comfort, as an added benefit, it provides a more usable mattress surface enabling you to sleep to the very edge.
The Avalon mattress is covered in a luxurious micro-quilted high loft knitted fabric. The mattress cover also incorporates a ground breaking new fibre called Tencel that has natural cooling properties and moisture management.
