Our in-store teams are trained by our Mattress Online Sleep Expert, The Sleep Geek, also known as James Wilson. With years of experience and a family legacy in the bed and mattress industry, James has helped thousands improve their sleep with practical advice. As a self-confessed bad sleeper himself, The Sleep Geek understands the impact a bad night’s sleep can have on your daily life.
So, no matter how you sleep, our in-store experts are ready to help you find a better night's rest.
Can I order an online product into a Mattress Online store?
If there's a product on the Mattress Online website that you’d like to see in person, we can arrange for it to be delivered to our store for you to try - at no extra cost!
Simply call your nearest store or drop in and let us know which product you’d like to try and we’ll arrange it for you.
If you decide to purchase the product, you can buy it at the website price, enjoying the same Comfort Trial and guarantee or warranty.

We guarantee that you will always be offered the best product price when shopping in-store. In the rare occurrence that the product prices do not match in-store and online, you will always be offered the lowest price, whether that is what is displayed in the store or on our website.

Are all your products available to purchase in-store?
We can’t fit our entire online product range in-store, unfortunately! But we do offer a wide selection of our online mattresses, beds and bedding in-store and we stock in-store exclusive brands in our Mattress Online stores.
If you’ve spotted a product on our website that you’d like to see in person, we can arrange for it to be delivered to our store for you to try - at no extra cost!

Deliveries, collections, recycling and returns
Whether you're looking for information on deliveries, collections, recycling, or returns, we're here to help every step of the way - even after you’ve purchased from us.
Can you deliver my purchase to my house?
Yes, we will deliver directly to your home. Our team will arrange a date for delivery with you when you complete your purchase in-store.
Our online and in-store delivery processes are exactly the same. For further details on what to expect on your delivery date, please read our delivery page for more information.
Can I collect my online purchase in-store?
You can collect online purchases at your local Mattress Online store. Please make sure to contact our in-store team before placing your online order so that our team knows when to expect the delivery and can work with you to schedule a convenient pick-up time.
Can I recycle my old mattress with you?
When you buy a new mattress from a Mattress Online shop, we can recycle your old one for £35 - provided the old mattress is the same size or smaller than your new one.
This fee is non-profit and covers the complete costs for transportation and recycling facility charges.
We’ll collect your old mattress when we deliver your new one. All we ask is that you leave your old mattress near your front door so we can easily collect it unless you have upgraded to the Premium Delivery service where we'll collect it from your room of choice.

Can I return a product to the store?
We’re sorry to hear that your item wasn’t the perfect fit for you.
You can return smaller items such as pillows and bedding directly to the Mattress Online store you purchased them from. However, for larger items such as mattresses and beds, you will need to return them to our main warehouses in Rotherham.
This is because we simply don’t have the space to store large return items in our stores.
To arrange a product return, please contact the store you purchased from and they can guide you through the process.

60 Night Comfort Trial, Guarantees and Warranties
We want our Mattress Online customers to have the same reassurances and protections on their purchase as they would online.
Does the 60 Night Comfort Trial apply in-store?
While the majority of our mattresses come with a free 60 Night Comfort Trial, this unfortunately excludes in-store exclusive mattresses.
Do all in-store products come with a guarantee or warranty?
All of our in-store products come with either a guarantee or warranty from the manufacturer to protect your purchase in the rare event of a manufacturing or quality fault.

Why are some stores called Mattress Online, and others aren’t?
Whether a store is called ‘Mattress Online’ or not may be based on whether the store is new, or if we acquired an existing business where we felt it was important to preserve the heritage.
When we expand our store footprint by acquiring an existing mattress store, our goal is linked to our core values - we aim to do the right thing by preserving their legacy within the community, and we want to retain loyal employees of that business, giving them a warm welcome to Mattress Online.
Any brand new stores that we create in the future will always be branded ‘Mattress Online’.
