All Hypnos mattresses come with a 10-year guarantee as standard.

This is one of the longest mattress guarantees available here at Mattress Online. Hypnos are proud of the quality and consistency of their hand-crafted mattresses, which is why their standard guarantee is so prestigious.

How long should a Hypnos mattress last?

Although a Hypnos guarantee is 10 years, The National Bed Federation recommends that you replace your mattress, regardless of the brand name every 7 years for hygiene and support reasons.

After sleeping on your mattress every night for 7 years, your mattress will go through natural wear and tear and the comfort fillings and support systems won’t be working at their best anymore.

Can I use a Hypnos mattress on my existing bed?

Hypnos recommend that you do not use their mattresses on the following bed bases:

• Old divan bases or bedsteads that have a sprung support system
• Bed frames with a slat gap width greater than 7.5cm (3 inches) apart

Using either of these bed bases could result in premature mattress wear and tear and invalidate your mattress guarantee.

Instead, you should use:

• New divan bases and bedsteads with a sprung support system
• New divan bases and bedsteads with a platform top
• New bed frames with a slat gap width less than 7.5cm

This ensures that your mattress will be fully supported and give you a great night’s sleep for years to come.
