The smell when it first went up meant I couldn't sleep on it, it's wearing off but every time I open the ottoman it still smells bad. I quite like a new carpet smell, its nothing like that, My husband says it smells of sweat, its a bit fishy I think its a glue or treatment used. Not nice.
