The gel memory foam feels premium and holds its shape well, which we really like. However, for sleeping, we personally found the pillows to be just a little thicker than our preference. We tend to prefer a slightly lower pillow height for better neck comfort during the night. Because of this, they work better for us as back-support pillows while sitting up rather than as our main sleeping pillows.
