CathyWhen I think of bamboo I think it will be natural and breathable. However this protector had a plastic backing, it was horrible, it crinkled when you rolled over and would be horrible in the summer when warm. If you have a small child that wets themselves in bed with you and you want a weatherproof covering on the mattress you then this may be a good idea, if not then avoid.
