JoAs a side sleeper I wanted support but on the softer side for a pillow top, this mattress was a soft-medium and I found this quite comfortable from the offset. Being natural fibres also helped to regulate temperature. I would recommend this mattress. What I found a bit annoying was the puckered tufts in the pillow top to secure it which had wool strand buttons on it. I could feel these as a moved about sometimes and actually swapped the mattress for a Sealy alternative - which I now regret as despite that I now find the Sealy, which is a Geltex top, less comfortable and makes me hotter in the night as well as being even higher which I don't like. Think I'd have preferred a thicker mattress protector or a basic topper to hide the wool buttons feel but wish I'd stuck with this Relyon mattress which also had a longer guarantee. Will look to go back to Reylon next time as I cant swap back now.
