Silentnight UltraGel 1400 Mirapocket Mattress

I have been sleeping on the Silentnight 1400 Ultra spring mattress in Super King size for a few weeks now and I think I have got a pretty good sense of it. It's a firm mattress definitely not soft or squishy but that's exactly what I was after. It feels properly supportive especially for my back. Since switching to it I have noticed I sleep better with less tossing and turning and no more waking up with back aches. Hubby is especially happy.One thing to note is the height. This mattress is thick and if you've got it on an ottoman bed like I do it sits pretty high. It's not a dealbreaker but depending on your room setup or how tall you are it might feel a bit too raised. In smaller rooms or with lower ceilings it can feel a bit oversized.Moving it into place was a bit of a mission. It is really heavyaround 50kg and the size makes it awkward to handle up the stairs into the bedroom. Took two men to get it upstairs and onto the bed frame. If you've got tight stairs or narrow hallways make sure to plan ahead. It's not something you want to do solo.The mattress is single-sided so you can't flip it but only rotate it. That's fine for me but if you're used to flipping your mattress every so often just keep in mind that this one isn't designed for that.The mattress came with a couple of pillows too which was a nice touch. Summing up it is a firm comfortable mattress with gel for orthopedicsupport and it feels like it is built to last. My back feels better and I'm sleeping more soundly. If you want something supportive and don't mind the height or the heavy lifting during setup i would say the Silentnight 1400 Ultra is a solid pick. Just make sure your room and bed frame can handle the size and maybe have someone around to help you get it into place.

A lot thicker in depth than I expected however that was probably my fault for not reading the description throughly. Big plushy mattress! Super super comfortable just the right firmness as advertised. I've been sleeping on the mattress nearly a week now and I have found my sleep to be a lot better and less aches and pains. I previously had a budget pocket spring mattress and this is definitely an improvement

The mattress doesn't come rolled up was very well packaged with loads of extras for safe delivery. The mattress itself is very thick and heavy seems very durable well worth getting Have been using the mattress just under a week now and must say it's very comfortable and supportive has helped massively with my back pain The only down side I've found is that you should air out the mattress in a well ventilated room for the first couple of days as has new mattress smell which I looked up and it's only off- gassing which is totally normal for most new mattress overall it's a fantastic comfortable best sleep I've had for a while would highly recommended.

I've been desperate for a new mattress so jumped at the chance to purchase a new one from silentnight. Ordering was simple and you could choose your delivery date at the time of ordering which is great. Delivery was smooth and you had the option to have your old mattress taken away for free. There were a couple of marks on the mattress where the plastic packaging had ripped but I suppose things like this happen when getting ragged about in the back of a delivery van and it's not the end of the world. The mattress looks and feels luxurious it's slightly deeper than my old one so feels a little higher which doesn't bother me. The fitted sheets I have still fit easily despite the mattress being deep. The mattress I ordered is classed as firm and after ordering I was a little worried it may be too firm but I was soo wrong. This mattress is firm enough that you don't notice when your partner rolls over or moves in the night however the Ultra gel feel gives it such a squishy comfy feel. I've slept so well since I received this mattress and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Added bonus we got two sets of hotel pillows free with purchase aswell. This mattress is so soft and comfortable yet supportive - I can't wait to get into bed every night 💤 no

Wow what a great night's sleep. The mattress is firm for support but the gel sprung system allows a softness that supports and eases those painfully pressure points such as my aching hips and knees from my arthritis. It's a deep matress so a little higher than I had but that is easier for getting in and out of just will take a while for sitting to put socks on. The cooling effect of the gel is preferable to my old foam topper. I didn't want to get upbit was so comfy which makes a change as my hips as normally screaming at me.
