Chester Maglo
Chester is an NHS Respiratory and Sleep Scientist in Year 2 of the Scientist Training Programme (STP).
He holds a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science and an MSc in Sport and Health Science, and is currently completing an MSc in Clinical Science through the highly competitive UK National Health Service training programme.
Spotting an opportunity, Chester founded his own coaching business to help ambitious individuals perform at their best through increased energy, focus, and output. He works primarily with business owners and founders; a group whose drive to perform and demanding lifestyles make sleep one of the most overlooked levers in their business.

As a qualified personal trainer with a background in fitness, Chester has competed in bodybuilding and continues to train four to five times a week to a high level. This gives him a distinctive edge when speaking on sleep in the context of physical performance, testosterone and recovery.
Having been diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnoea, Chester would stop breathing up to 30 times per hour without treatment. He now uses CPAP therapy on a daily basis and brings both professional expertise and lived experience to topics related to sleep and performance - and his clients report measurable improvements in deep sleep, energy and output within days of working with him.
Bridging the gap between clinical science and high performance, Chester spends his days looking into complex sleep disorders, using his knowledge and experience he helps his clients to stop seeing sleep as an afterthought but instead to harness the power of sleep to unlock peak energy, improving all other aspects of their lifestyle and supporting their business achievements.
Chester’s unique position gives him elite expertise when speaking on the intersections of sleep, physical recovery, testosterone optimisation, and physical performance.
